I truly consider this post is in an uncanny parallel with a great deal of what I have been pondering for quite a long time. On the one hand, I firmly agree with everything you're mentioning yet nonetheless at the other end of the spectrum, can't we possibly attempt to see such circumstances through the point of view of those individuals involved, rather than simply seeing it from our own small-minded view. In whichever location on this earth you will see people and events you like, and things you are not too keen on. The key is to just sit and accept it the way it is and not to be sucked in to all the hype which encompasses it. I believe in this individual situation, that is precisely what has happened, though I might be wrong. I would very much like to get others' views on this matter.
