Technologies for Ministry: RSS Feeds
This post is part of the series 25 Technologies for Ministry»

Description: RSS Feeds has been around for quite some time, but I am still amazed by how many really don’t know what they are much less how they can be used. This video on YouTube explains it best and more efficiently than what I could type here.
Ministry Application: RSS feeds are a great tool for pastors and Bible Study teachers. Let the web work for you and bring you the latest news and posts from the blogs and news sites you follow. There are several RSS Readers, but I have been hard pressed to find anything better than Google’s Reader. Here are a few RSS feeds to consider to get you started:
- Al Mohler
- Hank Hanegraaff
- World Magazine
- CitizenLink (Focus on the Family Affiliate)
- Preaching Today Sermon Illustrations
- Preaching.com Sermon Illustrations
- Fox News (Various Feeds)
- Barna Research
- Pew Internet & American Life Project
