Internet Safety: Protecting You and Your Family Online
Here is a presentation I made at Second Baptist Church, Houston, TX on internet safety. For those of us who oversee and support the technologies of churches, this is indeed one area of ministry that demands our attention. For many of us in church IT, we are the supply lines for our ministries and we often are unable to serve on the front lines. When it comes to Internet Safety, this is indeed the front lines for us. We understand the technology, the dangers, and we are committed to the church. Look for opportunities to be a voice…to help educate parents and kids about the good, the bad, and the ugly online. Partner with the pastors of your church to help bring awareness to ‘what’s out there’.
This is our front line, let’s step up and lead the charge in protecting our families and churches!
